Ryan Bowers, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, CAADC

Dr. Bowers is the Executive Director and Clinical Supervisor at Epistemic Consulting Services.  Originally from Ocean County, New Jersey, Dr. Bowers has been living in the Berks County Area for the past decade.  He completed his Bachelors of Science Degree in Applied Psychology/Organizational Behaviors from Albright College, his Masters of Art in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University, and his Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Duquesne University.

Dr. Bowers completed his clinical training by working with children and adolescents diagnosed mental health and behavioral issues at Child Guidance Resource Center, located in Delaware County Pennsylvania.  After gradating from Immaculata University, he practiced at Commonwealth Clinical Group working with Adult Sex Offenders; Pennsylvania Counseling Services, working with clients diagnosed with mental health and substance abuse issues; and is currently working at Hearthfire Psychology as a Licensed Professional Counselor.  ​

Dr. Bowers is also an Assistant Professor at Immaculata University  in the CACREP-Accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program and in the newly formed Counselor Education and Supervision Ph.D. Program.  Dr. Bowers has been supervising numerous counseling students and Professional Counselors around the Pittsburgh, Reading , and Chester County areas and has a passion for helping Professional Counselors be the best professional version of themselves as possible.
